James 2:1 1My brethren, do not hold your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of personal favoritism.
Principle: Faith and Favoritism are not compatible.

The Problem: #1 - Favoritism is Unbiblical.
Romans 2:11 11 For there is no partiality with God.
The Problem: #2 - Favoritism is Unreasonable
James 2:5 Listen, my beloved brethren: did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?.
The Problem: #3 - Favoritism is Unloving
James 2:8 If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law, according to the Scripture, "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF," you are doing well.

How will I know when I get it right?
1. All other “excellencies” will be as nothing. 2.Being held in contempt will be as nothing.
