What is needed in class…. • Notebook or folder • Pens or pencils • Flashdrive/Thumbdrive • MOST IMPORTANT: A Positive Attitude • Without a “can-do”, “will try” attitude, success in this class will be exceptionally difficult. Rethink your decision to take Spanish IV if you are missing this most critical component! • Curriculum is based on Exprésate3, textbook is kept in class • Donations of Kleenex boxes and antibacterial hand cleanser would be greatly appreciated

National Security Language Initiative (NSLI) The NSLI is an inter-agency effort coordinated by the White House to dramatically increase the number of Americans learning, speaking, and teaching critical need foreign languages. Foreign language skills are essential to engaging foreign governments and peoples, especially in critical world regions, to promote understanding, convey respect for other cultures, and encourage reform. These skills are also fundamental to the economic competitiveness and security interests of the nation.
