The three lanes refer to Wenru Lane(文儒坊), Yijin Lane(衣锦坊)and Guanglu Lane(光禄坊), while the seven alleys refer to Huang Alley(黄巷), Gong Alley(宫巷), Yangqiao Alley(杨桥巷), Langguan Alley(郎官巷), Ta Alley(塔巷), Anmin Alley(安民巷), and Jipi Alley(吉庇巷). t

  9. Mawei District Zhaozhong Temple:This is a small memorial temple for those who fell in the battle of Fuzhou. in August 23, 1884. In it you can konw about the opening battle of a Sino-French War, mainly over Chinese objections to France's expansion in what is now Vietnam.At least 2000 Chinese lives were lost, and 10 French. Mawei Shipbuilding Museum:contain an excellent memory of the shipyard's history dating from the late 19th century. Luoxing Pagoda:was once regarded as the symbol of China by the seamen.Today, the government of Mawei District built a beautiful park around it. Visitors can climb a small hill to reach the bottom of Luoxingta. t

A small store in Sanfang-qixiang is among the few workshops in Fuzhou that still make Yanpi the traditional way, therefore extremely famous. This ancient flavor really makes my mouth water.I think it's really worthwhile to have a taste. t
