  1. PROCRASTINATION WITH THESE 3 SIMPLE STEPS

  2. We all procrastinate at some point in our life. But don’t beat yourself up over that time wasted. At the end of this video you will be able to stop procrastinating at its bud and start doing that thing that the instant gratification monkey has been stopping you from doing.

  3. Trust us when we say that you will feel much better if you do what needs to be done, rather than put it off.

  4. But before we begin our fight against procrastination, let us understand where procrastination comes from.

  5. Three kinds of triggers set off procrastination:

  6. LACK OF CLARITY: You get an assignment to write a thesis paper, you see the mail of the assignment. But you have no idea where to even begin with the task. The best way to deal with this is by setting a daily deadline. And here the emphasis is on the word daily.

  7. OVERWHELM: Most people set huge goals for themselves, like run four miles today, write 6 pages today, etc. But if we ask you to do the following tasks right at the end of this video, presumably your response would be – “Absolutely not!” The trick is to make it smaller. Overcome getting overwhelmed by developing tiny habits.

  8. INCENTIVIZE YOURSELF WITH REWARDS AFTER YOUR TINY DAILY HABITS Procrastination is fed by the delay in gratification. Like when you write a thesis paper, you are not instantly rewarded with an A. So, to keep your inner animal hungry for the prize after training intact, for example do not feed yourself until you write at least two pages.

  9. Once you implement these tiny daily habits into your life, you will begin moving forward towards your bigger goals. And you will soon realize that once you get started the momentum will keep going effortlessly. The key is to get things started.

  10. And finally a bonus point which is crucial here is: You must develop habits that action-based

  11. So, after researching, start doing and that is how you will actually get things done.
