Call Program Overview • Goal: • Retain current BE & NBU customers by educating them on the newest versions and encouraging them to upgrade - and/or upsell to additional products - to ensure they do not make a move to CommVault.
Scenarios & Objectives • NBU customers on older version: • upsell to NBU 6.5 • and/or upsell to PD or VBR • and/or upsell to Enterprise Vault • BE customers on older version: • upsell to BE 12.5 • and/or upsell to BESR • and/or upsell to Enterprise Vault • NON- backup customers: • Sell them on BE or NBU • and/or EV
Call Program Details • Timing: • Call Blitz Day Kick Off: Tuesday, Nov. 18 • Program/Contest end date: Jan 2, 2009 • Focus: • Backup & Archiving solutions (BE, NBU, EV) • Highlighting our strengths over the competition (i.e. CommVault) • Target Audience: • upper mid-market and lower enterprise (750 – 5000) • existing customers who are not on current version

Call Blitz Targets and Data Sources 1) Backup Exec Customers • BE Customers that have yet to upgrade to version 12.x 2) Competitive & White Space Prospects • Prospects that have not purchased a Symantec backup product(non-Backup Exec or NetBackup customers) 3) Pre-Qualified Opportunities • Pre-qualified BE, NBU, and Enterprise Vault Opportunities from recent leads (events, webcasts, trialware, and telemarketing activities) • Opportunities were pre-qualified by the Marketing Lead Qualification team and will be routed directly to Sales Rep in SFDC (alerts via email) 4) NetBackup Customers • TBD (Post Call Blitz Day to Support Call Efforts thru the End of the Qtr) • NBU Customers that have yet to upgrade to version 6.5 6
Opportunity and Reward Tracking • Opportunities Eligible for Program Rewards must: • Be created in SFDC between Nov 18, 2008 – Jan 2, 2009 • Include Backup Exec, NetBackup, or Enterprise Vault Products • Include one of the following codes in the SFDC Promotion field: • Enterprise Reps = CBAE • Midmarket Reps = CBAM • SLED Reps = CBAS
The Day’s Schedule • 8:30am: Breakfast • 9:00 – 9:45: JWT’s All-hands call • 9:45am – 10:45am: Program & Product Overview • 11:00am: Hit the phones!! • 12:00pm: First hourly prize drawing & LUNCH • 2:00pm: Second hourly prize drawing • 3:00pm: Third hourly prize drawing (2 prizes) • 3:30pm: Gather and award End-of-day Prizes.
