VM Player • Download VMware player from http://www.vmware.com/products/player/ • Create a new Virtual Machine
Create New Virtual Machine • Use option as below
Create New Virtual Machine • Use option as below
Create New Virtual Machine • Use option as below • Note the location (here G://chrome2), name (here Chrome)
Create New Virtual Machine • Customize options as you like
Create New Virtual Machine • Click on Customize Hardware
Create New Virtual Machine • Change Network Connection to Bridged as below
Create New Virtual Machine • Finish VM
Delete the VM file • Go to location (here “G/chrome2”) and delete the VMWare Virtual Disk File (here named Chrome ). Take care to delete the Virtual Disk File and NOT any other file(s)
Download Chrome • Create gtgt.com account and download Chrome image from http://gdgt.com/google/chrome-os/download/ • Copy this file to location (here G://Chrome2)
Change Chrome VM • Unzip the download file, rename file to your chosen name here “Chrome” shift this file to location (G://Chrome2)
Change Chrome VM • shift this file to location (G://Chrome2)
Almost Done • This is how your VM folder should look (here G://Chrome2)
Boot up Chrome OS • Go to VM Player and click on Chrome (name here) • Click on Play Virtual Machine
Sign on Chrome • Login to Chrome using your Google Username and Password. • Note if you have trouble using mouse, use Ctrl + Alt and Ctrl +G to shift between your Chrome Virtual Machine and your Windows Existing Machine.
