全球正在变暖,拯救刻不容缓! Greenhouse Effect Do you know about the greenhouse effect? The rays of the sun pass through the glass of a greenhouse. Some of the heat goes out, but most of the heat stays. So, the inside of the greenhouse is warmer than the outside.
The Earth’s atmosphere is like a big greenhouse. Some gases in it are like the big greenhouse’s glass. The rays of the sun pass through the “glass,” and warm the Earth. Then, heat from the Earth goes back into the atmosphere, but the “glass” stops most of the heat. The Earth stays warm in this way. Sadly, there are now more greenhouse gases, and they stop more heat than we need. The Earth is getting warmer, and if we don’t do things to stop it, we will lose our home.
