Audience • The Texas Boys Ranch • Bob Mize • Background: • Established in 1972 by citizens of Lubbock. • Provides homeless and neglected boys of the South Plains with direction and care. • To date have taken in over 500 young boys from over 125 communities throughout Texas.
Recommendation • Issue/Problem: • The Texas Boys Ranch has some access to state funding but is in need of further financial aid. • The Texas Boys Ranch is a complicated operations that has little time to seek out grants to better their facilities and programs. • Our Goal: • To find appropriate grant funding. • To inform the Texas Boys Ranch of the application processes for individual grants.
