The The relationship relationship between between PVP PVP 3v3 3v3 and and Cancer Cancer builds builds Heard that the Tree of Savior game will be implemented pvp 3v3 game mode, But what is the relationship between PVP 3v3 and Cancer builds? The main problem with this game is theres so many classes to choose and so little worth playing because these players keep picking the cancer easy win builds. This makes newer players want to follow that same path and stay away from every other class. In the end there's no originality in builds and crappy pvp. Cancer builds, the ones ruining pvp like Cryo Kino, are just going to be stronger in 3v3 effectively making pvp worse. When you remove the threat of other players and can just cc the entire map with less people it's jsut going to make them even stronger than they are now. For gamers, this is a good change. There are pros and cons whenever you make a choice or theory crafting of build, it's either you are weak but stronger to something or vice-versa. But as of now here in iToS, Cleric and CC builds being strong at all around scenarios make this TBL worst. Note: Hopefully, when update comes here in iToS make Block penetration stronger for each point of DEX and make that cancer r7F skills a DoT damage instead of instant. Ktos already has the changes and those were not changed at all. iTos we have full CON kabs running around with 200k hp and just using r7 only. There is no weakness in that at all. It's not a good change when these same characters will have even more armor (armors were upgraded) and everyone else doing less damage.
With the upcoming 3v3 , there will be slightly more space to breathe against these cancer builds. 2v2 is pretty much like a game of rock/paper/scissors and Tree of savior gamers hope this aspect will stay for 3v3. The primary reason for such cancerous PvP experience is non other than IMC's match making algorithm that can place your team with no clerics against 4 of them. About PVP balance stuff: There was a very good pvp game with a "heal resistance" status, it worked so heal efectiveness was reduced in pvp the more you used it. That was a very good mechanic to prevent clerics to become inmortal just by tanking forever. Bad PVP balance can be seen in games like e.g. Dragon Nest where you have to CC the enemy like no tomorrow if your Class is fu( and 3d over by the developers just because 10% of the playerbase are unkillable through their experience, better internet performance, computer performance and equipment. Even today they continue to increase the CD time of certain Classes' skills like Guardian because of these changes, making it hard for you to even start playing PVP because when you enter PVP, all your skills are on CD and have like 30-60 seconds CD time till you can use even the most basic skills that actually deal damage. If you want to PVP you need CON. In RO you needed VIT to survive and pot efficiently in WoE and PVP. If you don't have any CON it's your own problem & fault for not having it in the first place. You have less HP and recover less per potion and still want to survive and kill in PVP with less "effective HP"? Healing with potions is pretty unfair if it's unaffected by such resistance while Heal is. It wouldn't solve the initial problem anyway as CON Clerics could just use pots instead because they heal a crapton of HP with 400+ CON (over 16k in 30 seconds). Tactics and individual skills mattered, but without decent equipement even well-organized guild would be just stomped. Items were much more imbalanced in RO - MvP cards and Godlike items boosted characters over the top.In current ToS you can actually outplay fully-equiped people with teamplay. Even a fully geared char cant stand a whole guild in GVG. Unless you are talking about trash HR servers with MVP cards/godlike items all over the place (And even mvp cards had its counters, maybe your guild was not good enough). After calculating with current top CON equip and the new card system (3 Blut cards) at max level 380 a full CON Kabbalist C3 will have 649 CON. That's ~128k HP normally, and 567k HP under Ein Sof. "Use your head to think on an actual strategy instead of just complaining about stuff and carry". It doesn't work like that. theres r7 everywhere either you attack without a weapon constantly to remove it and get 1 shot in that time and never kill the 200k kab, or you attack with your weapon attempting to take the kab to half hp and die because you can't switch weapon mid attack.
game offers multiclass and paths but only few is actually viable due to various reasons, namong a few; encouragement through class synergies, weapon restrictions (only archer and swordsman suffer from this, which makes it even harder to build physical classes), underwhelming and overpowered classes, broken mechanics like maces having both magic attack and physical attack resulting to inquisitor meta which excels in both damage types and decline in plague doctors C2, and much more. Hope that players can like this game mode.
