Making a difference in your community “The Women’s Transportation Fund provides assistance to women experiencing transportation problems that negatively impact their ability to be self sufficient. To date, more than 500 women have received assistance with gas vouchers, bus tokens, car insurance and repairs, drivers’ license fees, and cab services. These funds have made it possible for them to go to school and gain or retain employment. This wouldn’t be possible without you, the members of the Women’s Fund.” -Lindsey Schwarz-Nichols, CSW Women’s Transportation Fund Women’s Transportation Fund

2010 Women’s Fund Artist of the Year The 2010 “Blooming Rose” represents the many women who are able to blossom because of all that the Women's Fund provides for them. The carved rain drops stand for the time, programs, money, energy, ideas, and talents that the members of the Women's Fund give to feed and nourish the potentials of the women of the world. The rose vines encircling the body are the people of the Women's Fund supporting and caring for the women they help. The painted swirly sky shows the exciting journey the women are able to take because of their new opportunities. The sky is the limit. Eva Marie Restel
