What about Late/Early Take Tests and Retakes?

1. What about Late/Early Take Tests and Retakes? You can give a test late or early for an individual student by using a Special Test File form. Late takes or retakes for the class can be defined on the SCOUT Information sheet.

Special Test File Form RETURN TO SPECIAL TEST FILE Student Name _____________ Class Name/Teacher___________________ Test Name _____ Barcode # _________ Student allowed to use:__________ ____________________________ Charge: None _______ $3.00 ________ Early take ____ Late take ____ Date brought in ____________________________ • To arrange for a student to take a test outside of a test schedule - a Special Test File form must be filled out. These can be filled out at the Testing Center or you can call or email the information testcenter@byui.edu or 496-1750 • A late fee of $3.00 is charged for special testing. If there are extenuating circumstances the late fee can be waived by the instructor • Make sure we have a copy of your test. If it is available as Print On Demand we can print the test • Your student must tell the Testing Center employee their test is in the Special Test file.

3. Late Take Fill in the date for the late take. There will be a $3.00 charge. OR You have an option to trade the fee for a point penalty.

4. Retake You will need an additional test form with a different barcode for a retake. Fill in the date for the retake. There will be a $.50 charge for the first retake and a $1.00 for subsequent retakes. Or You have an option to trade the fee for a point penalty.
