Slope in the X-Games Find a picture from X-games present or past that demonstrates slope using one of the ramps of jumps Print the picture out…and using a ruler draw a right triangle where the hypotenuse is the line that represents the slope, and the sides are the height and width of the ramp/jump. Measure (in cm.) the height and width of the ramp/jump (this is slope….rise over run) Use the following website to find the angle of elevation (slope as a degree)! http://www.mathopenref.com/coordslope.html or : https://www.desmos.com/calculator/ Print out your graph from this website.
