  15. Formatting Checklist • No Birth date or Social Security Number • Include an objective in a targeted resume • Keep to one page • Margins should be 1 to 1.25 inches all around • Use 12-point type

  17. Grammar Reminders • Limit use of “I” • Start phrases with a verb, if possible • Be consistent with verbs and punctuation • All headings should be consistently followed by a colon or not • Spell check and read for content

  19. Give your Resume a KISS • KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID • Your Resume is your sales brochure • Keep it clean – avoid wordiness • Keep it simple – stick to one page • Pour on the sizzle – show that you can deliver results

Resume Assignment • Look on the website and find your Super Hero and Partner. • Then using the Instructions and the “Resume Data Collection Form” use the Internet to research your SuperHero • Then create a Resume similar to Batman for your SuperHero. • One person in 1st hour will not have a partner.
