  1. Kindergarten Connection April 15, 2011 Conference time: 10:30-11:00 We continued to enjoy listening to fairy tales this week, as we met kings, queens, and princesses. In social studies, we learned that we live in may different places at the same time! We live in Colleyville or Grapevine, Texas, the United States of America and we are part of the world. Next week will be magical as we read more fairy tales. We will also learn how to help take care of our world. We are looking for volunteers who are from a different country, or have ever lived in a different country, to come and visit with the kindergartners and share your experiences. Please let us know if you are available to visit with us one afternoon (1:00) during the week of May 9th. Important Dates • April 22nd– Bad Weather Make-Up day • We will have school! • May 5th – Career Day • May 11th & 12th - Early Dismissal @ 11:45 • May 13th – Gator Games • May 27th – Kindergarten Graduation • May 30th – No School Please go to the Glenhope website and take our Parent Survey.
