Superlatives • It always goes “the” before the superlative: “He's the tallest” “she's the shortest”
RULES RULE 1. One syllable adjectives add -EST. “Alonso was the FASTEST racing driver in formula 1”
RULE 2. If the adjective finishes in a consonant+vowel + consonant, double final consonant+ -EST “It is the SADDEST chick in the world” RULES
RULES RULE 3. One or Two-syllable adj. ending in consonant+“y”=i EASY= -IEST: EASIEST “Ludo is the easiest game in the world”
