New Teacher Center Partnership • NTC The New Teacher Center (NTC), est. 1998, is a national organization dedicated to improving student learning by accelerating the effectiveness of teachers and school leaders. • NTC partners with school districts, policymakers, and leaders in education to design and implement comprehensive, mentor-based support programs that improve teacher retention, build career pathways, and transform schools into vibrant learning communities. • Houston ISD Induction team participated in the NTC Academies and investigated the research findings to develop the partnership for implementing the HISD Full Time Mentoring Induction program. The intensive Mentor development is provided through the NTC Mentor Academies. • Click the NTC logo below to view the website.
