What is Sviloc Sud network A Italian no profit educational enhancement organization, operating in the specific educational, academic, professional and cultural ambience of Campania, South-Italy. A series of proposals such as: • long and short training courses • stages in italian companies, • specific experiences and connections which will help students to operate in a number of different professions in Campania in way which interfaces with the business community and the real made in Italy A high cooperation and partnerships with local Universities, Institutions, Research center, Center of competence, Enterprises, to create in Campania new international education and job skills opportunities for students, workers and professionals.
WHY Campania studyabroad? • Because Italian is the language of art, of fashion, of cooking, of film, of music and of tourism • To savour and experience the treasures, the richness and the culture of the Roman and Greek Ancient Civilization • Because in the last few years, Italy has increased its commercial, cultural and social trades with many other countries around the world • Because Campania region is one of the greatest educational and tourist destinations in the world • To be able to work with Italian companies or to build a self-owned business • For many of the Italians around the world that emigrated from Italy, to study Italian means to strengthen the ties with their origins and Campania is part of this identity
Campania study abroad combines: • a starting course abroad called On Campus course • a field trips to Italy called Educational and Focus • a summer program • a stage or interships in a italian company • welcome desk supporting the programs The program is open to all students who are at least 18 years old
The On-campus course • The on-campus course, specific session at abroad University has two main objectives: (1) to provide students to learn next future and job opportunities and (2) to prepare students for the specific field trip and stage to Italy • The On campus course is focused on the unique role that Italy plays in the world economy and more specifically on the history, culture, and management practices that enable Italian academic education and business to influence the worldwide markets
The Educational • One week academic program in the specific field of alimentation, art, archaeology, music, theater, hospitality, journalism, public relations, communication, political science, business, economics, sciences, education, psychology and architecture, according to the ECU Web site. • Daily meetings at Institutions, Universities, Research center, Center of competence, Education center, Local enterprises, peers in Italian universities, to improve academic skills and relations with business people to observe business in action; visits to cultural and historical sites to get a feel of the societal undercurrents. • Coming back from Italy, the Educational aims: (1) to discuss what was learned in relation to what was observed and experienced in Italy, and (2) to reflect upon possible and following professional and personal stage experiences
The Focus courses Courses on specific topics, to acquire a specific knowledge and skill and thought for different categories: alimentation, art, archaeology, music, theater, hospitality, journalism, public relations, communication, political science, business, economics, sciences, education, psychology and architecture, according to the ECU Web site. of users, such as: • Training for Youth and Adults; • Training for Self-Employee; • Continuing Education for SMEs, Medium and Large enterprises; Contents, duration and teaching methods according to the needs and specificities of each category
The Stage • CSA offers international college students, the opportunity to acquire a professional appreciation in Campania. • The duration is different from one week to three month. • During the month of August, tourism and hotel internships are the only selections available since a large percentage of the Italian population vacations during the month this period. • Welcome desk service organizes meetingsperiodically with the student and workers to monitor progress and evaluate the experience. The candidate is expected to attend all included Italian language lessons before starting the the program. The list of services includes: • Volunteer work • Paid jobs in hospitality management

Abroad • Memorandum of understanding with University and local Institutions to permit the organizations and promotion of CSA program • Propedeutical program with specific lessons called “On Campus course” for every Institute of University who desires participate to the programs
In Italy • Specific Academic Educational: 1 week (visit to Institutions, University, Center of competence, Research center, Enterprises) for students and faculties; group max 50 • Specific Focus course:specific subjects that help students to deep ability and skills to make profound shifts in specific areas that students want to develop. • Group job training (max 5 students) 1 week in a Italian company, voluntary work; training certificate, youth hostel HB accommodation; welcome desk; • Individual job training 1 month in a Italian company; voluntary work; training certificate; Italian language course, HB hostel accommodation, welcome desk included • Specific individual Stage 3 months in Italian companies (Institutional cooperation) HB hostel accommodation, Italian language course; minimum stage salary paid by companies to cover costs, training certificate, welcome desk
