Classified advertisements To write a classified advertisement, do the following: • Decide on the information. • Reduce the information. • Give an appropriate heading. • Choose a local newspaper. • Proofread your advertisement.

Display advertisements Using the AIDA principle in display advertisements • Attract and hold the Attention of potential customers. • Stimulate their Interest in the product or service. • Create in them the Desire to try out the product. • Persuade them to go into real Action.
Display advertisements Display advertisements for vacant positions • Start by gathering the information. • Choose appropriate vocabulary and an effective design. • The goal is to produce the desired response.

Notices Some tips when compiling a notice: • Give an informative heading. • Use simple language. • Choose a suitable border, etc. • Double-check the information. • Put up copies neatly. A noticeboard is also called a bulletin board
