  1. Week 28 pg.67-68 What direction is friction ALWAYS in? Describe all the forces an object falling through the air would experience? What type of friction occurs between objects that are touching, but not moving? Which type of friction is stronger? Static or rolling? How are mass and weight different?

  2. Week 28 pg.67-68 What is the difference between mass and weight? Describe all the forces acting on you sitting in your chair right now. If the notebook on your table is exerting a force of 5N down, describe the force the table is exerting. What does friction do to a moving object?

  3. Week 28 pg.67-68 USE YOUR NOTES FROM TUESDAY! What would happen to the acceleration of an object if you increase the force? What if you decreased the force? How much force would it take to accelerate a 5g object to an acceleration of 20 m/s/s? How fast would a 3g golf ball accelerate if you hit it with 38N of force?

  4. Week 28 pg.67-68 Jacob applies a force of 15N to the west side of the desk. Jessie applies a force of 5N to the east side of the desk. What is the net force on the desk? You are standing on the ground exerting a force of 56N down on the ground. What is the force the ground is exerting on you? If two forces that are the same size but opposite in direction are exerted on a car, what is the net force on the car? Describe the forces used stop a baseball that has been thrown at you.
