NRCS EQIP Payment Schedule (AWMS) • EQIP Program Payment Percentage can range from 30% to 50%, depending on practice. • EQIP Program Payment Percentage for Historically Underserved, Organic, etc can range from 55% – 75%, with a few cases range up to 90%, depending on program and practice. • Also can vary based on Iowa’s Common Resource Areas.

How is the Work Getting Done? • Historically A&E contracts, TSP’s and NRCS staff facilitated animal waste project completion. • Now – primarily TSP’s and NRCS – estimated 50/50 split. • EQIP 2008 – estimated 150 projects planned, partially certified, or certified under TSP purview. • In the past there has been funding on the watershed level (assessment work). • State Revolving No to Low Interest Loan Program (Feedlot to Building conversions)
