  3. A Foundation for Spiritual Gifts 1. The New Testament lists a wide VARIETY of spiritual gifts. 2. Each Christian has a PRIMARY GIFT where they should focus their time. 3. The Holy Spirit wants to supernaturally reveal JESUS through these gifts.

  4. 4.Like muscles in our body, gifts can be present but UNDEVELOPED. 5.Every one of these gifts is important and has a FUNCTION.6. God’s primary PURPOSE for them is to advance His Kingdom. A Foundation for Spiritual Gifts

  5. Don’t Confuse Spiritual Gifts with… NATURAL TALENTS FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT CHRISTIAN ROLES COUNTERFEIT GIFTS

  6. Are You a Thief? You rob YOURSELF of being in God’s will. You rob the BODY OF CHRIST of the benefit of that gift. You rob GOD of the glory He deserves.

  7. Steps to Discover and Develop Your Gifts… • EXPLORE the possibilities. • EXPERIMENT as much as possible. • EXAMINE how you feel. • EVALUATE your effectiveness. • EXPECT confirmation from the Body of Christ.
