CrustaceansThe insect of the sea Veena Kanumalla
My Habitat I am able to live on land and in freshwater! Does it get any better than that?
My Favorite Activities • Moulting • Crawling on the ocean floor • Swimming
My Geneology • We were one of the first to develop eyes with photoreceptors, allowing us to see better in darkness! • Our limbs have grown to be jointed, allowing for more efficient movement. • Our filter feeding methods have also evolved.
Why I’m Special • I have several kinds of specialized feet! • pereiopods(walking) • maxillipeds(feeding) • uropods (tail)
My ideal mate must be just like me! • Has • bilateral symmetry and coelom • three independent body sections • multiple feet/legs • An exoskeleton • The ability to live on land and water
