Customize the LGCA Proposal for Your District Credit Options Proposal sent to Ashland University. Course qualified for 2 graduate credit hours. Library Media Teacher Applied for adjunct professor status. LMT will facilitate course. Course Agenda Structure and pace course requirements to best fit district schedule.

Summary of Requirements for 2 Graduate Credit Hours: • Meetings: • Attend course opening meeting (face-to-face). (1 meeting) • Attend Demonstrated Evidence Meetings (face-to-face). (2 meetings) • Course Work: • Complete Things 1 and 2, and nine additional Things of your choice.* Total Things • completed by the end of the workshop: 11 • For each Thing: • - Complete the Respond Section • - Complete one Supplemental Activity • Present your Supplemental Activities at the Demonstrated Evidence • meetings • * Do Not choose Thing #9. This is reserved for Part 2 of the workshop.
Credit Options Through INFOhio/NWOET • Option One: No cost / No CEU - Take the modules for your own learning.[details] • Option Two: No cost /CEU- Work with your local LPDC to arrange for professional development credit.[details] • Option Three: Cost /CEU- Earn INFOhio/NWOET certificate(s) of completion.[details] • Option Four: Cost / 21st Century Skills Certificate - Earn your 45-hour 21st Century Skills certificate with specialization in Media and Information Resources. [details] • Option Five: Cost / Graduate credit -Receive one (1) or (3) graduate credits from Bowling Green State University and Ashland University.[details]
Graduate CreditINFOhio and NWOET $159 for 1 hour or $199 for 3 hours PLUS an additional university fee, which varies based on which university partner you select, is required. One or three semester hour credit options are available based on the number of modules completed. A final project and additional online assessments are required.
Benefits of a District LPDC ProposalFor Teachers • Course can satisfy any district requirements for PD hours. • Saves teachers money for graduate credit when librarian serves as adjunct • professor. • Possible to get blanket approval for this course saving teachers pre-approval • paperwork.
