Relationships begin with “Being Filled With the Spirit” 18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit, Obedience to the Word, results in: • Joy speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;  • Thankfulness always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;and • Submission be subject to one another in the fear of Christ.

Ephesians 5 21 be subject to one another in the fear of Christ 22Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything… 33 and the wife must respect her husband.

I Peter 3  In the same way, you wives, be submissive to your own husbands so that even if any of them are disobedient to the word, they may be won without a word by the behavior of their wives, 2 as they observe your pure and respectful behavior. 3 Your adornment must not be merely external—braiding the hair, and wearing gold jewelry, or putting on dresses; 4 but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God. 5 For in this way in former times the holy women also, who hoped in God, used to adorn themselves, being submissive to their own husbands; . 1. 18. Harmonize“Love Your Wife”and“Be Filled With the Spirit” • You can not do it in your own strength • Take your eyes off your husband, and focus on Him. • Be continually filled with the Spirit (Obey the Word) • Let Christ love, build up your husband through you • Thankfully obey

19. Being Continually Filled with the Spirit is the only hope of success for a waife Being Continually Filled with the Spirit is the only hope of success in a relationship
