Requirements on Analysis Infrastructure • Atlas Tier2 at ICEPP, Univ. Tokyo • Main analysis platform. • Tier3 sites (not yet defined) • KEK • Kansai area (Kobe)
Domestic Network • SuperSINET • 10Gbps backbone • Tokyo, KEK, Tsukuba, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima • 1Gbps connection to universities • Shinshu, Kobe, Okayama • Relatively short distance ~ Small RTT • 4ms ~ 20ms • Interactive session?

Testbed Deployment • Platform for training • Middleware installation/configuration. • Development of user application • Tutorials/Exercises • Start between KEK and ICEPP • A part of joint R&D program • Extended to Kobe • EoI from Hiroshima-IT, Okayama, Nagoya
Applications • Level 1 Trigger Simulation • Endcap Muon Trigger System. • Verification for every new release. • LCG Middleware Tutorial • Three day tutorial in December 2005 • 30 participants from Atlas Japan.
Future Plan • Migration of testbed sites to official LCG ones • Human resource is limited. No need to operate two separate grids. • Must be part of LCG in order to access the Atlas Data. • Atlas-Japan LCG sites • Under APROC • Atlas-Japan VO support
