Today thirteen universities have been involved in the program and have received an IBM grants of xSeries entry-servers to run the IBM software for Linux. www.ibm.com/linux/equinox

  12. Eclipse is an open platform for tool integration built by an open community of tool providers. Operating under a open source paradigm, with a common public license that provides royalty free source code and world wide redistribution rights, the eclipse platform provides tool developers with ultimate flexibility and control over their software technology.

  13. Extreme Blue projects are varied--focusing on topics such as emerging business opportunities including e-business on demand, Grid, autonomic computing, and other emerging technologies. • Technical students enjoy the opportunity to work on something new and create innovation for the IT industry.
