Glossary homework • Precipitation • Rain, snow, sleet or hail that falls to the ground • Sustainable • To be able to be maintained at a continuous level • Hydrology • Branch of science concerned with the earths water • Anaerobic • Relating to the absence of free oxygen • Condensation • Water that collects as droplets on a cold surface when humid air is in contact with it. • Evaporation • The process of becoming a vapour
Revision – The water cycle • Draw an outline of the water cycle with labels and describing the main stages of the water cycle • Hand to peer for marking • Give your peer a mark out of 10 for their water cycle • 5 marks for the correct process in order • 5 marks for the description • (Up to 2 bonus marks for presentation)
