  2. XVL License Manager Installation • Double-click on XVL_LicenseManager-*_*.exe to start installation. • Follow the installation wizard to finish installation. Lattice Technology, Inc.

License File When you use more than one XVL products in floating license, you can merge all license files and create a single license file. • Open C:\xvllm\License\xvlproducts.ltl in a text editor. • Open your floating license in a text editor and copy SERVER and VENDOR lines to xvlproducts.ltl. Example) SERVER hostname 01ac23bd56ef 1200 VENDOR xvllm • Copy FEATURE and INCREMENT lines of each product to xvlproducts.ltl. XVL License Manager Setup 1/2 • Open XVL License Manager by selecting [Start] > [All Programs] > [XVL License Manager] > [FLEXlm Control Panel]. • Click on the “Config Services” tab. • Select “XVL License Manager” for Service Name. • Specify the location of the each file: • Specify the locationof lmgrd.exe (C:\xvllm\bin\lmgrd.exe). • Specify the location of the license file (C:\xvllm\License\xvlproducts.ltl). • Specify the location of the debug log file (C:\xvllm\Logfile\debug.log). 1 a b c * Debug.log file does not exist by default.   7. XVL License Manager Setup 2/2 • To start XVL License Manager automatically when the server powers up, check “Use NT Services” and “Start Server at Power-Up”. • To use XVL License Manager as Windows service, check “Use Services”. 4 3 Lattice Technology, Inc.

  8. Starting XVL License Manager • Select the “Start/Stop/Reread” tab. • Click on the “Start Server” button. If the server starts correctly, you will see “Server Started Successfully” in the status section. Lattice Technology, Inc.
