  2. Vocabulary: • Mixed number • Improper fraction

  3. Mixed numbers to improper fractions: • Read all directions!!!!! • Write the problem down. • Use the following formula: DXW+N over same D (D=denominator, W=whole #, N=numerator). • Write final answer.

  4. Improper fractions to mixed numbers: • Read all directions. • Write down the problem. • Divide the D into the N (D=denominator, N=numerator, answer=whole#, remainder=N, # on outside of house=D). • Write final answer as a mixed number.
