Welcome to the 2012-13 Eastvalley Eagle Chorus! Your directors are Mrs. Amon, Mrs. Brown, Mrs. Steinheimer, and Dr. Bernard. We are so excited to have you in chorus!
It is a privilege to be selected as an Eastvalley Eagle Chorus member. Having been selected as a member of the Eastvalley Eagle Chorus, I pledge the following: • To attend all rehearsals or performances unless unable to attend due to illness. • To refrain from talking. • To refrain from acting in a disruptive manner, or interfering with another student’s learning. • To be respectful at all times. • To memorize the music as directed. • To watch the Director(s) at all times. • To furnish my chorus uniform and wear it to chorus performances as directed. • To remember that I am representing Eastvalley at school and community programs and must exhibit my best behavior at all times. • To remember that I am making a yearlong commitment to the Eastvalley Eagle Chorus. • Misbehavior in chorus or missing a rehearsal earns a “strike.” You are only excused from chorus if you are absent from school that day. If you receive a strike in chorus, you will be given a notification sheet to be signed and returned by a parent. For the good of the group, three strikes and you’re out. • Make sure you turn in all your chorus paperwork by next Monday or get a strike (that wouldn’t be a good way to start the year).
Eastvalley Eagle Chorus Calendar Dates 2012-13 • We also plan to sing the National Anthem for an Atlanta Braves baseball game this spring, date TBA.
