The State of Social Enterprise Survey 2009 shows that social enterprises are recession-busters • SEs are growing despite the recession, with 56% of social enterprises increasing turnover from last year compared with only 28% of other SME's • twice as many social enterprises (48%) are confident of future growth compared with 24% of typical SMEs
