Course Goals and Objective • State the many uses of the Automated Case Directory • Access the Automated Case Directory • Use reports available in the Automated Case Directory to obtain information regarding caseload • Manipulate the data in the Automated Case Directory to meet specific needs
What Is The Automated Case Directory? • A tool to help you manage your workload • A series of easy to access and use reports
What Types of Reports Are Available? • Case details • Individual details • Review month listing • Mailing lists • Lack of Review closures • WP exemptions • Living arrangements • Child Care individuals
Why Would I Want To Use It? • The ACD has many uses, but here are just a few examples of general uses. • Cases due for review in a specific month - reports #1 and #9 • Number and type of cases – report #1 • Cases with earned income or unearned income – report #4 • Cases that have an individual with a WP exemption reason and what it is – report #12 • Cases that have individuals with a specific living arrangement code (i.e., “Homeless” or “Military Absence”) – report #13 • Cases with an individual receiving Foster Care or Kinship Care – report #16 • Cases exceeding 20 and 30 day processing clocks – report #7 • Create a mailing list – report #6 • New, ongoing, and dropped cases – report #8 • Cases closed due to lack of review – report #10
Why Would I Want To Use It? • The ACD has many uses, but here are just a few examples of uses for MA/FS. • Unmet deductible – report #1 • Pregnancy status and due date – report #11 • Note: Future enhancements will assist with FS Error reduction
Why Would I Want To Use It? • The ACD has many uses, but here are just a few examples of uses for W-2. • Most recent W-2 placement – report #14 • Monitor length of time in placement • Verify if Voluntary or Mandatory status matches the correct type of placement • Exemption reasons – report #12 • Obtain a list of temporary exemption reasons for purposes of re-evaluation
Why Would I Want To Use It? • The ACD has many uses, but here are just a few examples of uses for CC. • Open child care cases with and without an authorization – report #15 • Who is receiving child care to attend school – report #15 • School age child banked hours – report #15
Advantages • Easier to navigate • Ability to sort, drill, and filter • Ability to export data to Excel • Ability to save reports specific to your needs • Choose multiple items • Online, internet accessible
Tips for Faster Report Returns • On the prompt screen, select only the choices you need • i.e., rather than choosing an entire county, choose only your worker ID • Do not make a selection in each of the drop-down boxes on the prompt screen • i.e., the selections are set up with an “Or” selection criteria, so it is not necessary to make a selection in each drop-down box
