Slovenian EMF Legislation • References: • The Decree on Electromagnetic Radiation in the Natural and Living Environment, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia no 70-3819/96 • The Regulatory on the first measurements and operational monitoring for the non-ionizing radiation sources and conditions for its performance, Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia no 70-3819/96
Slovenian EMF Legislation specifies: • limit values for E and Bin the environment • degrees of radiation protection on specificareas of natural and living environment • methodologyfor field assesmentandinstallationcompliance evaluation (explicitly stated !) • measures to reduce and prevent the excessive values
Measuring locations have to be chosen : • 1 m above the ground • in the distance of at least 1 m from all permanent and fixed objects and installations • for overhead line – equidistantly in transverse profile at the lowest point of the span in three spans • for buildings – in the distance 1 m away from fasade, also in higher floors inside the building, where thehighest field values are expected measuring locations = assesment locationsfor calculative predictions
Field Assesment “… at conditions when the stressing of the environment due to operation of the source is the highest expected.” current - maximal current expected in foreseen period (specified in agreement with the owner) - usually a fixed value for HVTL (400 A for 110 kV, 150 A or 300 A for 20 kV and 10 kV), if individual estimations fromstudies of the strategic development of network for the foreseen period • current carrying capacity of the conductor • current at rated power of the transformer voltage- 10 % higher than nominal
Field Limit value Distance - for (spatial) planning • maximum distances within which an excess of these limit values may be expected in advance known geometry, conservatively chosen input parameters
