Area Planning Network • The Area Planning Network(APN) of “Pedemontana del Grappa and Asolano” is a tool for decentralized planning and development of the territory, through which the Veneto Region offers the opportunity to all stakeholders and policy maker to create networks in order to participate in the making decision process at regional level
APN - members • It consists of several Municipalities and 60 other public and private partners, including trade associations, trade unions, the Social Volunteer, Public and Private Schools, Banks.
APN - objectives • To promote, through the method of consultation, the sustainable development of the local area planning and implementing strategic projects • To promote the local area in the world: marketing , brand, attracting investments • To enhance the eco-sustainable development through research, innovation and IT
APN - mission • to promote sustainable development of the territory of Pedemontana del Grappa and dell'Asolano, through actions, projects that contribute to increasing the quality of life and therefore the attractiveness of the area, to increase the competitiveness of enterprises, to support growth in technologically advanced sectors, to promote our region nationally and internationally.
Planning • To do this, the operational program of the APN provides for preparation of a programmatic document for the area containing the territorial diagnosis across socio-economic statistical surveys, interviews and forums with stakeholders, and with discussions with the Working Groups already Operating within the Covenant, describing the central-force, the identification of the strategic objectives of local development, the structural priority to be implemented over a two to three years, the identification of financial resources, the procedures for involvement and cooperation of partners, methods and monitoring tools.
Local Projects • Rivers project: the realization of a fully equipped paths along watercourses • Geo – referentiality project
Geo – Referentiality pilot project • Marketing of the territory • Tourist promotion • A first step towards a complete mapping of the geo-tourist routes and itineraries in the territory • The innovative element is that these routes are georeferenced, that is identified as a track GPS (Global Positioning System)
