MARINERS v RAYS 9-6 The Mariners playing the rays in this series finally the Rays jump on top early in the 2nd Rodriguez singles next batter Kotchman he singles Rodriguez to 3rd then Shoppach he hits one down the left field line it 1 hops the fence in the corner the ball gets away from Pegero 1 run scores its 1-0. The Rays add more in the 3rdZobrist with 1 down he singles then Joyce grounds to 3rdZobrist on 2nd with 2 down. Upton he grounds up the middle it rolls slowly to Hallman no play at home it’s 2-0. Then Felipe Lopez up he hits the ball to right it one hops the fence Upton’s got wheels the throw buy Ichiro is not in time by a second 3-0. But the Mariners come back in the bottom of they inning Pegero leading off and it hit by a pitch from Davis. 2 batters later Hallman he singles hard to Right Pegero to 2nd. Then Ichiro gets a belt high fast ball and drives it to the gap it rolls slowly to the wall 2 runs score Ichiro has a Triple and the M’s are back in it. next batter Ryan he lays down the suicide squeeze Ichiro scores the game is tied at 3. in the 7th with 2 batters on Hallman triples 2 runs score 5-3. the Rays score in the 8th and ties the game at 5. in the bottom of that inning Smoake walks Wilson comes on to pitch run Cust singles Wilson to 2nd. Then Kennedy singles. 1 run scores then Oliva he brakes it open he goes yard off Peralta 3 runs score. 9-6 final M’s win.

  3. MARINERS v WHITE SOX 1-3 John Danks takes the hill for the sox's he’s 0-8 this season. Bottom 4 game tied at 0 Korenko leading off end that drought he homers to left his 14th of the year in the last nine games against the M’s Kornerko’s hit 9 solo shots. In the 7th the Sox’s add some more Perzinki hits a ground rule double. After a walk Dunn he grounds into the double play then next batter Beckham he singles the run scores 2-0. first batter Halman he singles then Danks tries to pick him off the ball is dropped by Dunn Halman takes 2nd. Then Ichiro he hits a slow roller to 2ndHalman takes 3rd then Ryan goes the opposite way it’s 2-1. in the 8 the white sox's come right back with 2 down none on Quentin he doubles Kornerko receives the intentional walk then Perzinzki he comes up big he singles to left and 1 run scores it’s 3-1 the sox's win. Danks is niw 1-8 on the season as he out pitches the rookie Pineda

  4. MARINERS v WHITE SOX 1-5 • Phil Humber takes the hill for the sox's looking for his 3rd strait win. He have to do so against King Hernandez. Bottom 2 no one on one out and Kornerko jumps all over Felix’s fast ball goes into the left field bleachers his 14th of the season the his 2nd in 2 games white sox's up 1.King Felix still struggling in the 3rd he walks the first batter next batter singles Becham takes 3rd and then the 40 year old veteran Vasqule he’s better with age he loops one down the right field line it goes into the corner 2 runs score on the triple. Next batter Quentin he swings high drive dose it stay far? It clacks off the foul poll a 2 run shot it’s 5-0 in the 3rd. In the 4th the M’s get a run on the sac fly but that’s it Humber goes 7 and 2/3 innings sox's win 5-1.

  5. MARINERS v WHITE SOX 7-4 The Sox’s looking f0r the sweep of the mariners. Bottom 1 Quentin he really hurt the M’s this series the pitch is driven deep to right and files away 2nd homer in 2 games 1-0 Sox's. In the 6th the Mariners rally back. Ryan singles Smoak same story Ryan to 3rd . Then Kennedy he ground to the 3rd basemen Smoak out at 2nd Ryan scores then next pitch Kennedy he steals 2nd . 2 batters later Pegero walks. Then Guti he rips a shot down the left field line 2 runs score m’s on top 3-1. with 2 outs in the 7th the white sox rally back lilabrige singles then Castro singles then Beckham singles Lilabrige scores 3-1. then 2 down no one on for Oliva he gets his 8th homer of the year that just clears the left field fence 4-2 mariners. Quentin spoils the M’s parade with one man on he homers ties the ball game at 4. Top 10 the Mariners trying to give this one a story book ending. First batter Smoak he doubles then jack Wilson comes on to pitch run next batter Kennedy he walks then Oliva he hits a ball down the 3rd base line just fair Wilson and Kennedy score its 6-4 then next batter Hallmen lays down the sac bunt Oliva to 3rd then Gutierrez he lays down the bunt Oliva scores on the suicide squeeze oliva scores 7-4 and that’s a wrap.

  6. MARINERS v TIGERS 1-4 Justin Verlander the tigers ace pitching against Doug Fister. Top 5 Hallman up he drops one in then Hallman he takes 2nd. Then Carp he flies to right tagging is Hallman and he’s into 3rd. Then next batter Jack Wilson he strikes out swinging but the ball goes throw Avila and to the backstop Hallman scores it’s 1-0. In the bottom of that inning Peralta up he singles then Avila he triples the run scores Avila’s 2nd triple the first catcher to do so since 1992. Then 3 batters later Kelly he singles another run scores it’s 2-1. Then next batter the hot hitting bosh up he swings hits a high drive it wraps around the foul a mammoth shot it’s 4-1. and that’s the way the cookie crumbles. The Tigers win Verlander goes 8 innings 5 hits and 10 strikeouts

  7. MARINERS v TIGERS 3-2 Badared throwing for the M’s Penny for the tigers . Top 1 now 2 outs Smoake up he swings hits it off the end of bat it carries and Bosh can watch it leave the building 1-0 an opposite field homer. In the 4th the Tigers take the lead Bosh walks then Victor Martinez he goes yard just over the right field fence 2-1.the m’s weren’t done Carlos Pegero he had a night he triples then Gimenez he singles between short and 3rd game tied at 2. we go now to the 7thpegero leading off and giving the M’s the lead he jumps in the low fastball and rides it all the way over the right field bleachers 3-2. Pegero goes 2-2 with a triple, homer and a intentional walk M’s win 2-3.

  8. SOUNDERS v white caps The sounders playing the White caps in the cascade cup. The Caps have not won since there opening match this season.
