  4. MARINRES v TWINS 2-5 The mariners open a 2 game set with the twins. Bottom 1 Chone Figgins up he hits a slow roller and beats the throw from the shot stop. After Smoak strikes out Cust up he ropes one off the right field fence Figgins scores 1-0 early. The Mariners get more runs in the 3rd. Ichiro leads off he singles after Figgins files out Smoak Doubles Ichiro scores all the way from first 2-0. in the 6thKenndy up he crushes a shot over the right field fence for a homer his 4th of the year 3-0. very next batter Pegero up he hits a golf shot over the right field fence just barley 4-0. the m’s up 5-0 nothing in the bottom of the 9th first batter kuble he reaches first on a fielding error by Kennedy. 2 batter later Kuble he singles, next batter Cuddyer he singles. So bases loaded Young up grounded to Figgins his throw is off the mark and 1 run scores 1-5 then next batter grounds to Ryan and he throws to Rodriguez for the 2nd out 1 run scoers. then next batter Revere grounds to Ryan to end the threat 5-2 final.

  5. MARINRES v TWINS 2-1 Felix Hernandez the mariners Ace battles with the Ace of the Twins Francisco Lariono. Top first Felix struggles he walks the lead off hitter Denored Span. Next batter grounds to Smoak he gets Span at 2nd but Ryan can’t get Tolbert. Next batter Kuble he gets free admission. Next batter Moreno he hits a slow roller to Felix his only play to first runners advance then next batter Cudyer he singles to center 2 runs score it’s 2-0. the M’s able to get a run with 2 outs Ryan is hit by a pitch next batter Saunders he singles Ryan takes 3rd then Ichiro comes up he singles 2-1. we go to the bottom of the 9tholiva with one out walks then jack cust hits a ground ball to the short stop he bobbles it throws and oliva called out a contrivesail call so the M’s manger Eric Wedge comes out to argue he gets ejected and the M’s fall 2-1 final.

  6. MARINERS v ANGLES 1-2 Action gets under way in the top of the 4thHowie Kendrick at the plate he swings and homers it just clears the left field fences 1-0 Kendrick's 7th homer of the year. Bottom5 now first batter Rodriguez up he doubles to right next batter Pegero he grounds out Rodriguez to 3rd then Giminzes flies out to hunter the throw to the plate is on the money but not in time 1-1. first batter Cust comes up he hits a slow roller and gets an infield hit (never thought I would say that) next batter Krnndy he lays down a sac bunt Cust to 2nd then Rodriguez up he grounds out Cust to 3rd. Then Pegero up he hits a routine pop up to Hunter but he drops it in the sun Cust scores 2-1 final.

  7. MARINERS v ANGLES 0-3 Jason Vargas going for the m’s, and the Angles ace Jared Weaver will pitch for LA. Weaver has been absolutely lights out. But in the bottom of the 1st he’s struggling. Figgins up with 1 down he doubles, then next batter Smoak he hits a ground ball to the first basemen Turmbo he bobbles it and there is no play next batter Cust and he singles to right 1-0 early. Bottom 3 now the Mariners looking for some insurance runs first batter Ichiro he singles left, next batter Figgins he hits a slow roller towards the 3rd baseman Calspo and his only play to first Figgins out at first and Ichiro takes 2nd Next batter Smoak he drives a ball down the right field line it hops and hits the fence Ichiro scores easily 2-0 Mariners. Next batter Cust he singles to right center Smoak uses his wheels he scores 3-0. the Mariners would go on to win and complete the 2 game sweep.

  8. MARIENRS v PADRES 1-4 Erik Bearded pitched a gem for the mariners he doesn't allow a runner to reach 3rd. Top 2 Lead off hitter Kennedy he singles to center 3 batter later with 2 outs Carlos Pegero up he hits one into the right center gap he rounds 2nd and heads to 3rd the throw is dropped he has a sliding triple 1-0. next batter Ryan he singles past the diving 3nd baseman 2-0 Seattle. Top 4 now first batter Oliva he hits a ground rule double over the left field fence next batter Pegero he files out to the right fielder Oliva tags and makes it to 3rd next batter Ryan he fliers out to the center fielder and Oliva tags he scores 3-0. with 1 down top 6 Oliva at the plate he swings and goes upper deck at PETCO park one of the deepest parks in the MLB. The Padres tag one on in the 9th but that’s it 4-1 final

  9. MARIENRS v PADRES 0-4 Michael Pineda gets the call for the m’s to start against the Padres and the mariners wake up the bats. Top 2 Gutierrez at the plat he singles up the middle next batter Ryan he singles Gutierrez holds at 2nd. Next batter Mike Wilson he dose damage he hits a ground ball threw the infield Gutierrez flies around 3rd he scores the throw to 3rd is beat out by Ryan. Runners at the corners for Jack Wilson and he files out to center Ryan tags and scores 2-0. Lets go top 4 now Ryan up with 1 down he is hit by a pitch next batter Mike Wilson he hits a rolling gaper the outfielders can’t cut it off it goes to the wall Ryan scores and Wilson gets a double 3-0. now top 6 Ryan up he walks 2 batter later Jack Wilson he singles Ryan takes 3rd. Next batter Pineda he grounds into a fielders choice Brenda Ryan out at home Jack Wilson takes 3rd . Next batter Ichiro he is walk intentionally next batter Figgins after a called strike catcher Philips throws down the 3rd base line his throw is off the mark Wilson scores 4-0. Pineda got more runs then he need throwing a 7inning shout performance with only 2 hits allowed 1 walk and 9 K

  10. SOUNDERS v SPORTING KC 1-0 The Sporting Kansas city come to Qwest field looking for there firs t victory since the season opener against chives USA. Keller was stellar in goal KC took 7 shots at Keller but he held on to keep a clean sheet. Last time the sounders played KC they beat them in injury time off a mike Fucito goal. In the 90th plus minute the sounders win a corner kick the cross goes to the near post and is flicked into the back side of the goal by Jeff Parke his first goal since June of 2004 7 years later he scores a winning g goal. The sounders win 1-0 no thanks to the ref at all the sounders take over 2nd place in the west.
