  10. Financial Aid • Completing the FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov • Free Application for Federal Student Aid • Most college financial aid, of any type, requires the FAFSA. • Start working on the FAFSA NOW, and submit it as soon after October1st as possible.

  12. Academic Honors • Academic Honors designations: • Summa Cum Laude – 4.0 and higher • Magna Cum Laude – 3.75 to 3.99 • Cum Laude – 3.50 to 3.749 Students who earn a D or F in any high school course will not be eligible to receive academic honors.

  13. Beyond the Application • Social Networking Sites - Facebook/Instagram/Twitter—Be careful of what you post, share, like, retweet, etc. • Email addresses—keep them appropriate and CHECK them! • QUESTIONS?
