Join pit crew members Chad and Kelly along with teachers Allison and Brayden for an exciting racing journey into 4th grade education. With 19 years of teaching experience in the Windsor School District, they bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for cultivating young minds. This innovative teaching approach includes various tools such as Trapper Keeper pouches, planners for communication, and differentiated instruction methods. The use of PIES (Positive Interdependence, Individual Accountability, Equal Participation, Simultaneous Interaction) sets the tone for engaging cooperative learning activities like Numbered Heads and Mix-Pair-Share. Students will benefit from tiered activities, flexible grouping, and goal-setting strategies to enhance their learning experience. Daily behavior management involves color-coding to encourage positive behavior and reflection through THINK SHEETS. The ultimate goal is to maintain the green color throughout the day and students are rewarded for following the speed limits of being safe, responsible, and respectful. Get ready to accelerate your learning in 4th grade!
