LHC arc Slot IP TAN situation • 4 TANs are installed in IP1L&R, IP5L&R • Each TAN is equipped with 1 slot corresponding to 10 Copper bars • TANs are situated in LSS zones with ~0,7 degree slope and 0,4 degrees tilt • Overall measured dimension of the slot is 998x94,9x605mm (lxwxh) (inf. to design) • Tilt combined with height of the slot (605mm) gives an horizontal shift of 7,5mm in parallel to the machine axis and ~4mm perpendicular to this Caterina Bertone EN-HE – 19 February 2009
