Facts About Ulster • Ulster has a population of just over 2 million people and an area of 21,552 square kilometres. • Three Ulster countries ,Cavan , Donegal , and Monaghan , form part of the Republic of Ireland. • The UCRRA is Ulster`s recycling agency. • In April,2002 the UCRRA opened a “Materials Recovery Facility” to process all of Ulster County's recyclable materials.

  4. The UCRRA Recycles…Types • Paper • Glass • Plastic • Cardboard • And many other things! Where does paper go once recycled? It goes to paper mills to make more paper.

Waste • The UCRRA doesn't put any waste in tips they recycle everything they have (except un-recyclable things.) • They have one design of bin ; it is small and blue ,it doesn't look like a bin it`s like a tub. • There are local drop off centres where you can give in your waste. I recycle nectar.
