Terms You Should Know • Cue • The specific music for a particular scene in a film or television production • MusicDirector • The professional responsible for selecting, commissioning, and/or writing a music track • Spot • To determine which scenes should have music • Click-track • A series of clicks that allow the conductor to synchronize an orchestra’s accompaniment to a film • MagTrack • A film similar to audiotape coated with an oxide surface • Dubbing • Putting all of the elements onto one track.
