  8. The kingdom of God is the rule of an eternal sovereign God over all creatures and things. The kingdom of God is also the designation for the sphere of salvation entered into at the new birth. Where is the Kingdom of God?

  9. Read Matthew 6:10 It is in heaven and Jesus teaches about the Kingdom coming to earth very soon. Had you noticed the term Kingdom used twice in the Lord’s prayer?

  10. What kind of Messiah were the Jews looking for? Jews were typically looking fr a warrior king who would restore their kingdom. Jesus offers a different kind of kingdom, the kingdom of God but here on earth

  11. How do you enter the Kingdom of God? Read John 3:5 Had you noticed before that Jesus does not talk here about being saved or eternal life, but entering into the Kingdom of God?

  12. God’s kingdom is in heaver where He is king or ruler. Jesus is teaching that God’s kingdom will soon ne on earth. Is God’s kingdom already here on earth or is it coming sometime in the future?

  13. The Kingdom of God is here and now. You become a part of that Kingdom when you are baptized in the Spirit. It means that God becomes the rule of your life and you are to seek and follow His will. So if you want to begin to see what God’s will is for your life, then the best way is to go back and read what Jesus has to say about the Kingdom of God.

  14. A quick exercise. Use your concordance to find Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven and share a verse you find interesting. An exercise for your Bible study this week. Use your concordance to find Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven and learn what Jesus had to say in detail.

  15. Read Colossians 1:9-10 Read Romans 12:1-2 What is God’s will for you life?

  16. How do you go about discerning God’s will when you have a major decision to make? Once you make the decision, you should feel consolation or desolation. If you don’t feel consolation, then you need to rethink the decision making process leading to the outcome.
