  8. Importance of cooperation No company can win in a race to deliver network-centricity. But each of us can lose if we do not stay at the forefront of the international effort. Our customers want globally interoperable NEC solutions - not US, not European, and certainly not US v European. So we have no choice: we must take part in a global effort to develop standards and architectural approaches. Working withNATO is the key to our success
