  3. Relay for Life • What: It’s only exercising to us, but it’s hope for a cancer patient! • We need 10-25 people to help us help this cause! • When: Sat.-Sun., April 10-11, 2010

  4. Community Service • What: Rose Float Day • When: December 26th to 30th • Time: Morning and afternoon shifts available. Go to Rose Float day this Thursday to get more information. • What: Help decorate the famous Cal Poly Rose Float for the Rose Parade on January 1st, 2010.

  5. Toy for Tots and Holiday Food Drive • When: Now until Christmas break • Where: Donations can be dropped off in Bldg 9-167 • Why: To give to those less fortunate!

  6. Study Session • When : Wednesday, December 2, 2009 • Where: Bldg. 9-207 • Time: 11:00- 1:00 PM • Why: Finals are next week!!!!

  7. Carne Asada Sale • When: Thursday, December 3, 2009 • Where: Front of the Cesar Chavez Center • Time: 10:30- 2:00 PM

  8. Sports: Next Quarter! • What do you want to play? • Basketball • Volleyball • Pick a sport and a time on the sign up sheet, and remember to leave your contact information!!

  9. A Word From Your Historian • What Ed Diaz needs from you… • PICTURES!!! • E-mail any SHSE related pictures to pictures@calpolyshse.org • They don’t necessarily have to be at a SHSE event, but the pictures need to have SHSE members!!!

  10. Breakfast With Industry • When: Friday, January 29, 2009 • Time: 8:00- 10:00 AM • You need to preregister in order to attend this event! • To register, e-mail the following to industryrelations@calpolyshse.org: • Full Name • Major • Complete and updated resume

On a Networking Note… • Southern California Edison wants your resume! • So get it nice and ready, an email will be sent out, giving instructions on what to do with it. • The Gas Company wants your resume too! • We are doing a resume round up. • An email will be sent out, if you are interested, just reply with your resume as an attachment.

Cabin Trip • A few Details • The cost is $50 now, unless you were personally told otherwise. • Those who have not paid have until this Friday, if the payment is not made, the next person on the waitlist will take the spot. • We will have the pleasure of getting a visit from Dr. Farran on the first night. • The first night is a potluck dinner, please bring something delicious to share! • Gift exchange range is finalized at $10-$15. • We will be calling everyone today about carpooling. • ABSOLUTELY NO EXTRA GUESTS ALLOWED!!!
