  3. Are the Classrooms Necessary? • We have discussed enrollment growth at length • Our campuses are crowded • Additional classrooms are clearly needed

  4. Is MTYRE a viable option? • MTYRE costs the district $3.2 Million • Combined debt service costs for new and refinanced COP’s is $3.2 Million • Avoiding MTYRE essentially pays for the debt

  5. Can we afford the debt service • Enrollment growth expected in next 4 years • Additional funding from next year’s growth alone is expected to be more than $2 Million • Yes we can afford the debt service

  6. Can we afford not to go forward? • Supporting the C.O.P. will bring in more than $9 Million in State Match. • Supporting the C.O.P. will save the District $7 Million in construction costs. Yes on recommendation No on recommendation
