Calabash Shakers • Calabash Shakers are also known as the gourd shell. • They are made of leather, wood, and plastic. • Has large beads inside. • Makes a sound like a maraca but more deeper sound then the maraca. • People like to sing and dance when they hear the Calabash Shakers.
Marimba • The marimba is a percussion instrument • It is arranged like a piano • You play the marimba by striking the Keys or bars with a mallet to play a musical note (Keys usually made of wood)
Zulu Skin Drums • Zulu drums are earthenware pots with animal skins on each end. • They are also known as the vibration drum. • To make this drum make sound, you have to hit it very hard. .
