7. Saints • Name for believers meaning “holy ones.” • The OT believers were called to be “holy,” or consecrated to God (Ex 22:31; Lev 11:44). • In the NT, “saints” became the apostle Paul’s favorite name for Christians. TBD

20. Sovereign God • Defined • The One Divine Being who possesses absolute authority and power without any limiting factors (apart from His own perfect character) over every possible aspect of life and death in all known and unknown universes.

27. Authenticate repentant faith in Christ’s and his atoning work on the cross is the only way to have peace with God.

28. Romans 5:1 Justification permanently takes care of my sin problem—so that I can have peace with God. • Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

If I am born-again (justified—blood washed saint), I can have the worst morning of my life, get into a fatal car accident, and have no fear of being condemned at the Judgment seat of Christ! Yes—I am talking about dying with un-confessed sin! Consider This

37. Biblical Fact #4 God expects me to live at peace with others because He is at peace with me, without compromising my loyalty to Him.

39. According to Jesus Peace with unsaved people should not be the most important thing to us.
