Tracker Isolation • Muon from QCD sample • 15 GeV/c cut on recomuon PT • Muon from the Drell Yan sample • 15 GeV/c cut on recomuonPT • MC Truth matching: • Gen pdgId * charge of recomuon = -13 • Gen muon status = 1 • Gen muon parent is Z • δR between gen and recomuon < 0.5 • δPT/PTGenbetween Gen and recomuon < 0.5
Track Quality • Certain custom set of cuts were borrowed from Matt’s earlier study. I refer to these as custom cuts • There are built in quality flags in the reco Track object • loose, tight and highPurity
Muon PTfor Drell Yan sample with MC Matching and Pt > 15 cut
ΣPT Definition • Outer cone radius : 0.3 • Inner Cone radius : 0.015 • Tracks with no cuts, custom cuts and tight cuts have been considered
