  1. Columbus, Georgia’s Animal Care & Control Center located at 4910 Milgen Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding City Government holidays).

  2. Front reception at the Animal Care & Control Center. Drop by between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Saturday and visit with our adoptable pets.

  4. Want to adopt one of our dogs? Drop by the Animal Care & Control Center, or call 706.653.4512, and ask about our adoptable dogs.

  5. The Animal Care & Control Center is comprised of 52 indoor runs (including quarantine and sick runs) and 32 cat cages.

  6. The staff at the Animal Care & Control Center are dedicated to providing the best care to all of our animals, while the animals wait for a new family to adopt them.

  7. All dogs brought to the Animal Care & Control Center are routinely checked for any ailments.

  10. Animal Control is staffed by one Animal Control Field Supervisor, (8) Animal Control Officers, One Shelter Supervisor and four (4) Animal Control Technicians.

  11. Animal Control Officers’ vehicle. If you see a stray dog or cat, call 706.653.4512, and an Animal Control Officer will be dispatched to the location (if seen on a weekend or City holiday please call 911).

  12. Please come visit our facility at your earliest convenience. We are located at 4910 Milgen Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907. Open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM (excluding City Government holidays).
