  7. Conserving Resources at Home, School or in Your Community See if your community offers a recycling program! Turn off lights and appliances when you leave a room or when they’re not needed

  8. Help Conserve Resources By: • Turning off the water when brushing your teeth • Taking short showers instead of baths • Bringing your own fabric bag when you shop- don’t use plastic bags!

  9. What Else Can YOU Do? • Print and copy double-sided • Use less air conditioning/heating • Share these tips with your friends and family- spread the word!
